Payment Insurance & Billing
The Bookeeping Department can be reached at (501) 664-0330 between the hours of 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
There is no standard fee for a diagnostic evaluation, just as there is no standard treatment for all medical problems, however, there are fixed charges for each examination and test.
Until you have completed your first examination, there is no accurate method to estimate your total charges. As soon as the doctor has planned your diagnostic evaluation, we can give you an approximation of total charges.
It is our policy that you pay for your first visit or co-pay before leaving our office. You will need to pay your co-pay PRIOR to seeing the physician on all return visits.
For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
Medicare
Gastroenterology Associates, P.A. does not accept new Medicare patients but does continue to see the Medicare patients our physicians have treated previously.
We are in network with most insurance plans and a limited number of Medicare Replacement Plans. Please check with our staff to verify our participation with your insurance carrier
Pre-Certification
If a pre-certification for a procedure or a referral form is required by your insurance company, it is YOUR responsibility to be sure this is completed before any visit.
If you are insured through a managed care company, please check your directory to be sure that we are contracted with your carrier.
Lab Billing
Lab services are provided by Gamma Healthcare. You will not receive a bill for laboratory services from Gastroenterology Associates, PA. If you have billing questions or concerns, Gamma can be reached at 800-879-2343.
